Fes workshop Classes:
Join us for three days of immersive pottery classes, with each session running for 2 hours daily. We provide all necessary clay tools and supplies, so you just need to wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on—although our standard class clay typically washes out, darker clays may occasionally leave stains. Coffee, tea, and water are included to keep you refreshed throughout each class.
Workshop Details
Over three days, you’ll dive into the traditional techniques of Moroccan pottery and ceramic tile-making, learning hands-on skills under the guidance of skilled artisans. All clay tools and materials are provided—just wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting clay on, as some darker clays can stain.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll have your very own handmade pottery or ceramic piece to take home as a personal keepsake of this cultural experience. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are provided to keep you refreshed throughout each session.
Class Materials & Project Guidelines
Please note that our clay and tools are for use in the studio only. You may create pieces up to 10 inches in any direction, with a maximum of 50 lbs of fired pieces per participant.
Arrival & Access
On the first day, please arrive about 5 minutes early for check-in. You’ll be provided with our student access code, valid daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, allowing flexibility to attend at a time that works for you within these hours.
Age Requirement
Our classes are designed for adults but are open to participants aged 12 and older. For students under 16, we recommend a preliminary visit to ensure the workshop is a good fit.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the first session to receive a refund or reschedule for a later date. After this period, or once your class begins, refunds or rescheduling are unavailable. However, you may add a rescheduling flexibility option for $25.
Missed Classes
Since the first session provides foundational skills, we recommend attending all sessions in sequence. For subsequent missed classes, we offer a makeup option (subject to availability) that can be arranged by contacting us in advance.
