Program of the 3 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech
Day 1: Fes to Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)
Our guide will pick you up at 8 a.m. from your Riad or hotel in Fes, and we will begin our 3 Days Desert Tour from Fes to the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through the Middle Atlas, Ifrane, Azrou, cedar forests, and the Ziz Valley gorge. It is an interesting route in a beautiful landscape that provides great photo opportunities. After sampling Moroccan cuisine in Midelt, we will travel to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will ride a camel for two hours to view the sunset from 250 meters above sea level. We stay at a Berber luxury campsite for the night, where dinner is freshly prepared and served under the stars. After dinner, it is always nice to gather around the fire for some drum music.
“The night in the Sahara desert is magical,” as the saying goes. So take a walk near the camp to take in the starry, magical sky!
Day 2: Erg Chebbi – Skoura – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Our second day begins with a drive to Rissani town to explore the market. The road takes us to one of Morocco’s largest canyons, the Gorges of Todra, which is the most well-known direction for Moroccan rock climbers. We stop for lunch in Todra Gorges. We will do some walking later before heading to the other valley of Dades. The green fields of the valley contrast beautifully with the colors of the mountains. We will stay in a hotel for the last night of this 3 days desert tour from Fes.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
On the last day of our tour from Fes, we drive to the Rose Valley, which blooms in May. Off-roading through Skoura’s palm trees, where the architecture of the Kasbahs is spreading within the palm’s shadow, we make another stop in Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have lunch there after the visit before continuing to Tizi N Ticheka Pass (2260 m), which crosses the High Atlas mountain range. Early evening arrival in Marrakech.
Your journey concludes with 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech.
