Each of our tours starts with a pick up either at the airport immediately upon your arrival or pick up from your accommodation. Agadir is the second tourist destination after Marrakech. The beauty of the city makes it a great departure for a memorable tour around Morocco. After meeting you, we take the road to Taroudant, an old town that represents the old Moroccan life. We will not stay long here then we move to the ancient UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It’s a piece of art that mustn’t be missed during your visit to Morocco. Locals and the government work hard to maintain this icon of the Southeast. The Kasbah is situated in the region of Ouarzazate or the African Hollywood. So, we will take the chance to visit the famous filming studios of Ouarzazate where Gladiator was filmed. Night and dinner in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga
Wake up in the morning to have breakfast at the rooftop of the traditional building watching the breathtaking scenery of sunrise. Then, you take the road of Rose crossing Kalaat Megouna before you reach the gorgeous Dades Valley. Here, you will stop to take pictures of the palm trees and enjoy the view of the valley. Later, you continue driving to the impressive Todgha Gorges where you will walk for 30 minutes and we can have lunch inside the valley. The tourism capital of the southeast is Merzouga which will be our next and last destination of today’s journey. Upon arrival, we will leave our luggage at the hotel after a cup of mint tea. Then, the camel man will prepare us for a ride to the famous Erg Chebbi. Camel trekking for 30 min to 1h. We hike a high dune to not miss the panoramic sunrise. After that, we will spend a memorable soiree around the fire enjoying the Berber Gnawa Music. You can choose either to spend the whole night outside the camp under the starry sky or to spend the night in the desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Agdez – Zagora
You will wake up early in the morning to admire the beautiful sunrise before you trek camel back to the village of Merzouga where you will take a shower and have your breakfast. We then leave the desert of Merzouga for the desert of Zagora. We will pass over the Berber Town of Alnif and Agdez before we reach the desert of Zagora. If Merzouga is known as Erg Chebbi Dunes, Zagora also is famous for its high dunes of Erg Chegaga. We will discover the village of M’hammid then we will camp in the middle of the Erg Chegaga dunes. But before, we will trek camels or quad bikes from the town to the desert to have the adventure.
