Program of the 6 Days Tour from Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls – Ait Bougmez Valley
On our 5 days tour from Marrakech, our guide will pick you up at your Riad or hotel at 8 a.m. and drive you to Morocco’s most spectacular waterfalls. We have a good chance of seeing the Barbary Apes as we walk down beside the pools. The path leads to the bottom of the falls, where you can see the 300-meter drop. We continue to Azilal town for lunch before taking the scenic mountain road with numerous photo opportunities. We arrive in the breathtaking Ait Bougmez valley, with its patchwork of cultivated fields and traditional Berber houses surrounded by breathtaking mountains. A night will be in a hotel.
Day 2: Ait Bougmez – Tizi N Ait Imi – Kelaat M’Gouna – Dades Valley
Following breakfast on a sunny terrace with a lovely view, we will go for a short walk in the fields before heading off the road to the panoramic Tizi N Ait Imi 2910M pass. The road leads us down to M’Gouna Valley and then up to Tizi N Ait Hamed at 3050 meters. We travel through many villages to reach the Rose Valley, which blooms in April and May. Our day comes to an end in the Dades Valley about an hour later.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes
We drive from Dades Valley to Todra Gorges, a popular rock-climbing destination, and take a walk through the fields and gorges before continuing to Erg Chebbi, passing through the arid landscapes and volcanic mountains of the Anti-Atlas. Then we will make our way to the Erg Chebbi dunes. We begin an hour of camel riding toward our camp in the middle of the dunes. Overnight stay in a Berber camp
Day 4: Merzouga Dunes – Alnif – Draa Valley
We get up early to see the sunrise over the dunes. Then we will ride the camels to where our driver is waiting. Our journey begins in Rissani (the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of the Alaouite Sultans) and leads to the vast palm of Tafilalet. Continue to the correct location for Alnif’s lunch. We will continue the road through Tazzarine, N’Koub, and Tansikhte; from here, we will take a short detour off the road that runs alongside the palm trees of Draa Valley, giving you another chance to see the Ksours and Kasbahs. Overnight will be in a Kasbah with a breathtaking view of palm trees.
Day 5: Draa Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi N’Ticheka – Marrakech
After breakfast, we begin our journey through the Atlas Mountains towards Ouarzazate, pausing to visit the film studios. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is Morocco’s most impressive Kasbah and well-preserved Ighrm. The backbone of many Hollywood blockbusters is well-known. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and begin your journey towards the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Morocco’s highest road pass, Tizi N’Ticheka (2260m), which offers stunning views of valleys, mountains, and numerous Berber villages. Arrive late at night.

Morocco 5 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech reviews
This 5-day tour was absolutely incredible! I’ve been to Morocco before, but this itinerary took us to places I never even knew existed. Ait Bougmez Valley was like a secret paradise, and spending the night in the desert under the stars was pure magic. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel safe and welcome the whole time. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see the real Morocco.
The whole trip was perfectly organized from start to finish. From the waterfalls of Ouzoud to the peaceful vibes in the High Atlas villages, it was an unforgettable experience. Riding camels into the Merzouga dunes and sleeping in a Berber camp was the highlight. The food was delicious, and every stop felt authentic, not touristy. One of the best trips I’ve ever done!
What a stunning journey! Every single day brought something new and surprising. The views from Tizi N’Ticheka were jaw-dropping, and the Dades and Todra Gorges were simply magnificent. We loved the accommodations, especially the Kasbah in the Draa Valley—it felt like a fairytale. Huge thanks to our driver Hassan for making this trip so enjoyable!
This tour exceeded our expectations in every way. The guides were friendly and professional, the vehicle was comfortable, and every destination was well thought out. We learned a lot about Berber culture, tried local food, and took hundreds of photos of the landscapes. If you want a mix of mountains, desert, and culture, this is the perfect tour.
Traveling as a solo female, I was a bit nervous—but this tour made me feel safe and welcome the entire time. The group size was small, the pace was just right, and the guides went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Seeing the sunrise over the dunes and walking through the peaceful Ait Bougmez Valley were moments I’ll never forget.
