7-Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls – Ait Bougmez

At 8:00 a.m., our guide will pick you up from your Riad or hotel and begin driving to the beautiful Moroccan waterfalls, the Ouzoud waterfalls, where we will stop for a walk with our guide to discover the site. On the way down to the waterfalls, you can easily spot the Barbary ApeWe continue to Imi N Ifri for lunch before continuing to the happy valley of Ait Bougmez through various landscapes of forest, valleys, and villages. Spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 2: Ait Bougmez – Zaouia Ahnsal – Taghia Gorges – Amzray

We drive to Zaouia Ahnsal and then to Taghia Gorges, one of the main directions for rock climbing, via the off-road in the valley of Ait Bougmez, with amazing landscapes of green hills. We walk for two hours there, and among the gorges, we meet our cook, who has already prepared lunch. Later, we return to Zaouia Ahnsal and then to Amzray, a simple and beautiful Amazigh (Berber) village where we will spend our second night in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Amzray – Cathedral – Imilchil

After breakfast, we leave Amzray and follow the river, passing through an oak forest with a beautiful view of the Cathedral. We continue up to Tizi n Laabbadine, where the road will take us to one of Morocco’s largest manmade lakes, Bin El Ouidan, and then to the plateau of Imilchil, where we will stop to see the beautiful lakes of Isli and Tislit, two lakes with a love story legend. Spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 4: Imilchil to Todra Gorges

We started our journey early in the morning to catch the sunrise over Tislit Lake and then returned to the guesthouse for breakfast. We continue our journey through an amazing valley, passing through various beautiful villages along the way. We arrive at the Todra Gorges and take a walk before returning to our hotel.

Day 5: Todra gorges to Merzouga dunes

Before heading to Erg Chebbi, there will be time for some trekking in the Todra Gorges, as well as the arid landscapes and volcanic mountains of the Anti-Atlas. When we arrive at Merzouga, we begin an hour-long camel ride to our camp in the middle of the dunes, where we will spend the night in a luxury camp under a starry sky. Overnight stay in a Berber camp

Day 6: Merzouga Dunes to Draa Valley

We get up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before eating breakfast and taking a shower at the camp. Our journey begins around 10 a.m., heading towards the vast palm of Tafilalet. Drive through Rissani (the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of the Alaouite Sultans). We continue to Alnif and have lunch in the proper location. Continue on the road through Tazzarine, N’Koub, and Tansikhte, and then take a short detour off the road to the Draa Valley palm trees. It would be your second chance to visit the Ksours and Kasbahs. Overnight will be in a Kasbah with a breathtaking view of palm trees.

Day 7: Draa Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi N Ticheka – Marrakech

We begin our final day of the vacation package – Morocco Tour from Marrakech – after breakfast by crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountain towards Ouarzazate. We make a detour to see the movie studios. After that, take another break to visit the UNESCO-protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, a magnificent Kasbah, and well-preserved Ighrm in Morocco that is well-known for serving as the inspiration for many Hollywood blockbusters. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and begin your journey towards the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Morocco’s highest road pass, Tizi N Ticheka (2260m), which offers stunning views of valleys, mountains, and numerous Berber villages. Arrive in the evening in Marrakech.
