Program of 9-Day Family Tour in Morocco

Day 1: Casablanca to Marrakech

After meeting our driver at Casablanca’s Mohamed V airport, the Family tour in Morocco will start from Casablanca to Marrakech. We will take the highway through the lovely countryside. We deliver you to your Riad in Marrakech. Medina

Day 2: Marrakech to Ouarzazate city

After a relaxing evening at your Riad in Marrakech, our guides will pick you up and start our journey to Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi-n-Ticheka Atlas pass (2260 m). From the pass, you will have stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains, which are dotted with Berber villages. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the site with your guide. After that, we will have lunch nearby before continuing to Ouarzazate, where we will stop to see the Cinema studios. One of the best attractions, especially if you and your children have never seen the movie site’s background, Evening in Ouarzazate

Day 3: Ouarzazate – N’Koub Village

If we have not seen the Kasbah of Taourirt yet, we will stop by before continuing on our journey. We pass through the Anti-Atlas mountain range, where you can see the seasons change as we travel deeper into the Sahara desert. Later, we arrive at the Valley of the Draa, Morocco’s longest palm-tree valley. We will take a short walk through its Kasbahs and fields before stopping for lunch.

After lunch, we will travel to N’Koub village, where we will spend the night in a Kasbah with a swimming pool, where you can spend the afternoon if you wish. You will be able to walk through the village of N’Koub and its incredible 45 Kasbahs, with a unique view of Jbel Saghro and its small Oasis. A Night in the Kasbah

Day 4: N’Koub – Merzouga Sahara desert

Today’s tour will take you to the magical red dunes of the Sahara desert, also known as the Merzouga desert. We will stop for photos before continuing to Khamlia, where one of the musical groups provides entertainment with Gnawa music. Later, we will stop for lunch, and Medfouna, or Berber pizza, as it is known in the region, can be your special dish.

We will have a drink in the afternoon at one of the hotels with a pool. We will begin our camel trek before sunset to reach the luxury camp. Riding a camel is a smooth activity that both adults and children would enjoy doing for two hours while admiring the Erg Chebbi dunes. The night in the luxury camp will be the highlight of the day, with you sitting by the fire, listening to drumming music played by the camp staff, and stargazing around the camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

If you get up early enough, you can see a beautiful sunrise over the dunes and possibly do some sand surfing with your kids. Later, we will have breakfast and then take a camel ride back before beginning our drive to the Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most famous canyons, where we will have the opportunity to visit a nomad family who lives in a cave. Rock climbing is very popular in the area and is one of the activities you should try if you are interested.

By the end of the day, we have driven to Dades Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful valleys, where we will spend the night.

Day 6: Dades valley Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis

Today’s tour is chilling; as usual, we will take a walk through Dades Valley to discover its unique beauty. You will enjoy walking peacefully in this valley, which is characterized by green fields and a red soul. Continue on our journey, passing through the Valley of Roses, which produces over 4000 tons of roses each year. A specific rose blooms in April and is celebrated with a large festival in the area. We drive through the Skoura palm tree, admiring the palms and the Kasbah. We pass through Ouarzazate again; just a few kilometers away is our oasis, Fint Oasis, where we will spend the night.

Day 7: Fint Oasis – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

We begin our family vacation in Marrakech by taking a short walk through the oasis to explore its charming fields. Later, we drive through the High Atlas mountains to Marrakech, which is mostly active in the evening. You can take a short walk through the famous Jemaa El Fna square or simply relax in your lovely Riad.

Day 8: Marrakech guided tour

A full-day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most beautiful cities, which was founded at the end of the 12th century by the Almoravid dynasty and is always an attraction for its unique history and culture. Our guide will take you to the city’s most notable landmarks, including the Saadian Tombs, Menara, and Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia mosque with its minaret, Bahia Palace, the Souks, and Jemaa el Fna Square. Afternoon is free to relax in the Hammam or attend a cooking class. The Riad at Night
